The Membrantec automatic brush-type self-cleaning filter utilizes a rotating brush system against the inner surface of the filter screen to achieve the self-cleaning function. When the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the screen reaches a predetermined level, the drain valve opens. As a result, the motor drives the internal brush system to rotate, effectively brushing off and removing impurities that have accumulated on the inner surface of the screen. These impurities are then discharged from the unit through the open drain valve.

Once the pressure differential returns to its initial value, the automatic drain valve closes, and the motor ceases operation. The cleaning process typically takes approximately 15 seconds, ensuring minimal disruption to system flow during cleaning operations.
